You need to probably download the drivers for the components in your system. 7 will have the majority of them, however go ahead and go to nvidia.com and download the newest drivers for you video cards. Good luck.

    "Find" them?

Pretty sure the R1 doesnt have integrated video, so how are you displaying graphics on your screen?

Are you able to physically verify that you do indeed have a pair of cards in the system? Can you get any other system information applications to see if maybe Everest isnt picking them up for whatever reason?

you sure integrated and hybrid are both enabled in bios?

if its the case i would try a clean installation of 270.51 drivers (uninstal driver through control pannel add remove program, then in safe mode run driver sweeper and ccleaner to remove nvidia residues, reboot and instal new driver).

Are you familiar with going into BIOS to enable the graphics cards? Sounds like you may have restarted on battery power and they were disabled in BIOS. F2 at alienhead screen..ADVANCED tab....GRAPHICS SETTING...ENABLE HYBRID and INTEGRATED settings...F10....YES. This MUST be done on AC power or BIOS will just kill your settings when the machine restarts!

Well sir that is wrong! The R1 has the 9400m.
OP check your BIOS settings while on AC power as Orion mentioned and you should be fine.

I would +1 what Katalin and Orionz have said, as well as to add...

Once you DO go into BIOS and enable the hybrid graphics, keep in mind that every time you boot up on battery power, the system will revert back to the 9400 ONLY. After you plug it back in, you'll have to go back into BIOS and enable the hybrid graphics...

If you start your system unplugged it will automatically start with the integrated card, there's no way around it. Your solution, as said above is to unplug your laptop while on the dedicated cards.

    Cheers
