    Hello everyone!

I would like to restore my computer to factory default settings using the Respawn partition. I do not have the discs anymore.

I've read alvinkhorfire's guide on how to do this without the disc! I've tried running DSLCheck.exe as the guide suggests and it tells me the partition has not been found. I have no recollection of ever tampering with the partition. I moved on the Step 2 to see if it worked anyway and received the same message.

I then went on to the control panel and disk management to see if the partition was still there. It said that 14/14gb were free on the partition, so I assumed that at some point in a previous Windows 7 install, that I must've tampered with it.

I then decided that I would just fresh install Windows 7 again via my USB drive. I came up to the screen showing me the partitions to install on and there I see the Respawn Recovery partition telling me that 5gb are used on the partition. I'm very confused as to why I'm getting mixed messages about whether or not the recovery option is available.

    Help is greatly appreciated!
