I am running Bios A05, have installed all the latest drivers from the website in the order that I found in another post. And my video keeps freezing, locking up completely or "Recovered Nvidia Kernal" Error from windows the lcd blinks black while recovering.

I had the tech out and they replaced both 280's last week now he is coming today to replace the motherboard I have read the other threads about A03 working better and there maybe a driver issue with A05 and the new Dell certified Nvidia drivers.

My question is if this motherboard doesnt work what should be the next step I take or do I have to live with this crap. The phone support chick said if the motherboard doesnt work it must be a software issue and is my fault.

EDIT: This happens when playing any game or browsing videos on the web even has happened when I click the start button.

More like dodgy graphics card drivers.

The A05 bios on my M17x R1 works fine, but I still run the last beta graphics card driver (P06 from dell) as all subsequent driver releases crash my laptop with hard locks and blank screens, but I’m not sure if this is the case for SLI users like yourself. On the other hand it may be like you said and it’s a dodgy motherboard.
