    M17x R1 5870 see both card but no crossfire

    Hi All,
    bios on A07, detects both cards currently running dell factory driver for 17 r2. ATI program sugguests that the crossfire cable is not installed correctly but I have double checked and all is good. The vbios on both 5870 cards are different. I tried to update the VBIOS but I get a message stating this bios is only for M17.

    Can anyone give me the correct BIOS setting, best driver to use to get crossfire working, and any tips how I can update the vbios on both cards to be the same release.

    Sorry I know I am asking a lot but all the links I have followed so far end in dead downloads, any help would be gratefully received.

    The vBIOS should not matter, you might have faulty cable.

    There are plenty of guides on how to flash 5870M here on NBR :)
