I recently upgraded my processor from T9800 to Q9200. I also added more ram. Originally I had 4gb (2 sticks) and I replaced it with 8gb. Everything looks right in BIOS. It shows Q9200 running at 2.4, and 8gb ram 1333. However when I launch Windows 7 Ultimate 64, I can only see 4gb ram. CPU-Z shows 8gb, but the frequency is 667MHz (Dual channel?)

I took out CMOS battery for a minute and flashed BIOS, but it did nothing. Please help.

There is a Memory Remap in BIOS that allows full use of onboard memory by your OS, don't remember where it is at the moment but I run 7 Pro 64 on my M17x r1 and it see's the full 8Gb of 1333 RAM.

The 64 Bit OS should definitely see the full 8 GB.

    Try reinstalling the chipset drivers

WOW 74bit OS..... I need to buy that NOW ;)
(j/k I know it was a typo... just couln't help myself).

Also, I upgraded my M17xR1 to 8gb of ram about 2 months ago and everything was recognized easy and the boost (for my photo work) has really increased.
(Try stitching 30+ raw images together with only 4gb of ram and see how long your sanity remains)

    667x2(dual channel)=1334 isn't marketing magical? :p
usually when you have your integrated on it will take you only ~750Mb but 4Gb??
