Hi, since a few days ago the fans of both gpus stopped working.. i runned Crysis Gpu benchmark, and the fans didn't turn on, i tryed the ATI tool artifacts finder and monitored the temperature with HWmonitor, the temperature rises at over 90C and still the fans remines off... i rolled back to my old graphic drivers but the problem i still there.. what can i do? how the fans work? at what temperature the fans start to work???

PS: the cpu fan is working well, at the alienhead boot, the fans make a sound, i guess thats the bios testing the fans, and they seems to be responding.

I think fan speed is controlled by the BIOS not the drivers , they usually kick in at around 53c they increase speed at around 63c and go to full blast around 67 (monitoring temps with evga presicion while gaming)
I assume your fans are on but don't augment speed, apart from bad fans I can't think anything else maybe someone here knows what's going on

yeah XIII you were right, it was something about the BIOS, now the fans are working, it seems the problem happened becauses i was overclocking the CPU @ 2.3 GHz, i set the clock @ 2.26, and now the fans are working properly.. i don't know what the cpu speed has to do with the fans of GPU but.. thats the way it works aparently

I have this same thing type thing crop up from time to time, seems to happen randomly after resets. I now run Furmark before i play any games to make sure they kick up, because i've caught them reaching 100c before.

This is definitely a dangerous bug, but i haven't really seen anyone else talk about it. I've had it happen on both A03 and A04. Mine wasn't related to overclocking either. Just seems to happen from time to time after i rest the computer for whatever reason.
