I just restored a(to factory specs) and upgraded my R1 due to virus issues and it is or rather was working beautifully, until I attached my 23 inch Samsung LCD. Then both screens go black and no matter how much I try doing it differently I get the same results! I cannot use the monitor at all. The monitor has a HDMI connector and I use a DVI adapter to connect it to my R1. It has worked for well over a year until now. Can anyone advise me on how to fix this? Thanks!

try the beta drivers from Dell s website.
i have an external monitor conected via HDMI and it(aw monitor) only goes black for a fraction of a second to have it's resolution changed, besides that it works like a charm.
