Hi guys, just a quick question. I want to replace a nvidia 280m video card and when I checked around on Ebay for them I noticed that the there is a Dell version and another version from Lenovo's / Clevo etc.... What is the difference between the cards? I know that there are some cards with different MxM sizes but if its the same as the ones in Alienware Laptops would the Lenovo ones work?

The reason why I ask is because the Lenovo ones is like half the price as the Dell ones and dont really want to spend the $500 on a card...

    Call me cheap.... lol

The cards should be close enough that register addresses etc... should be the same, so should work. However there's possibly a lack of or different SLI cable/cable connector.

I think there's a thread on here about some guys trying after-market 285Ms that had issues with the SLI cables.
