    M17x R1 vs R2 Hardware specs

    Hi guys,

    I've got a question regarding the m17x laptop casing differences between R1 and R2. Basically my R2 has some bad scratches and chips on both the lid and the base. I saw an ebay seller selling good as new m17x R1 shells (ie lid and base, no electronics of course). I was wondering if any of you know if I can use those on my R2?

    (what pops to mind would be eg, are all the USB ports located at same position, video/hdmi out etc)

    Since the parts-people website actually only states "m17x" but no indication whether its for R1 or R2 I do assume that all parts are exactly the same between R1 and R2...?
