There is this weird squeaky noise coming from the left side of my computer. I don't think it's the hard-drive dying though. It only happens when I unplug my laptop (it gets louder). But when i plug it back in it's still there but its quieter. Im not sure what this sound is but it is annoying. Any idea on what this is? Its kinda like a high pitched buzzing

It should stop the moment you unplug your laptop. If it doesn't after a while pull out the battery too.

I remember having one of these tweeting sounds coming from the laptop after cleaning it, it got louder the more the system was under load.
After a while I realized it was caused by the GPU pushing on the fan cable, after reseating it correctly it stopped.
