Disable PCI Gen2 in BIOS under Advanced Options > Graphic Options.
Clean your current drivers and try the latest ones ;)

Agreed, my preference is the latest nvidia driver + disabling PCI Gen 2. As stable as the P06 driver is you do get slightly better performance from the latest nvidia driver.

NVIDIA driver 259.64 with BIOS A2 and disabled PCI E2.

Seems stable after the PCI E2 was disabled (lots of audio hang, video driver restart og blackscreen/need for hard reboot power button using PCI E2).

Motherboard was replaced a couple of months ago due to dedicated graphic cards disfunction (only onboard NVIDIA 9400 card working at that time).

This driver is stable and with Gen2 turned off and the onboard card disabled it runs everything except battlefield 3. I have been running this driver now for 6 months without any problems. It is a one year old driver (Jan 2011) but until the new drivers start supporting the GTX 260 sli setup in the R1, its only driver that works. 3D VISION ALSO RUNNING!

you can use, lastest drivers, you just have to replace on the setup folder, with the proper modded .inf file.
