Someone help me please because I am freaking out right now - I just reinstalled the entire operating system - went from having a nice purple/blue/green theme to doing the full Vista install, then all the drivers in Vista, then Windows 7, then all the updates...

All of my AlienFX lights were working and then one of the updates said it was flashing the firmware for my AlienFX and I just realized (when I'm trying to sell it of course) that it killed my touch strip!

Is there any way to fix this? I am going to be so upset if its fried!

I am so broke right now that I have no choice but to sell it in the first place - now I can't even sell it because you need a flashlight to see the eject, volume, wifi, etc!

Well I fixed it myself. To anyone else this happens to, install the latest OSD and then under AlienFX, make sure to change the color of the panel to anything else than what it currently is. Apply it and reboot. As soon as the POST goes through, you'll see it light up.

Another way to have this problem is to accidentally untick "keep status zones on during go dark". In the right click menu on alienfx in the quick launch section of the toolbar. I managed to do this at one stage and then wondered why my drive lght, caps lock lights and touchpanel would only light up when i wasnt in "go dark" mode lmao. Oooooops..... ;o)
