    Hi everyone,

I am really stumped and feel pretty stupid about asking this. And yes, I did try some Google searches - which led me back to the forums - without getting a real answer. Perhaps I didn't use the right search criteria...

Anyways, I am trying to figure out how to enable Bluetooth on the M17x R2. I know have it (checked BIOS), but I can't find a place where to turn it on and operate it. I have a USB device I need to test out to ensure that it is working (already tested on my desktop), but for the life of me I can't seem to find a switch, button, program, etc. in Windows 7 that will allow me to pair or otherwise...

Can someone please tell me what I need to do to pair a device, or at least where to find Bluetooth settings?

    Thanks!

That's where my bluetooth settings are in all my laptops, the screenshot is of my M17X R1. If you don't see a bluetooth icon there then I guess uninstall/reinstall your bluetooth drivers.

That's where I thought they should be. I'll give the Bluetooth drivers a re-install and pray that works. Will report back with results soon. Thank you for the quick reply!

I thought I was going crazy the first time I tried to sync also. Re-install the BT drivers and make sure that your wireless is turned on. Click on the BT icon and Add Device.

Thanks to both of you. I installed the BT drivers and the icon appeared. This is odd as I could've sworn I already installed them - which is why I was hesitant just to install over old BT drivers - but it works so I'm grateful!

@King Smoth, send me a PM about those M18x's you're selling. I am interested.

BT drivers for that machine sometimes require you to install them a couple of times for it to really work. IK it's odd but it happens :p
