    M17x R2 5870 xfire has failed need advice

    Hey guys,
    Been using the comp for a few months and its been great until last night when i started getting bsods, dell couldnt fix it remotely and a technician is coming out on friday. The guy said they might end up replacing the 5870's, i remember hearing this can cause more problems down the line and so i was wondering what you guys reccomend i do, for example if i ask for a new laptop what will happen because they dont make the r2 anymore.

    I suggest you upgrade to Nvidia 285m. I have an engineer coming tomorrow to replace the crappy 5870s in my machine :)
