Could somebody point me in the right direction, I've finally got my thermal equipment and later on today I'll be ready to perform the hardware upgrade from my single 5870M to CFX 6970M, however can somebody tell me what driver to use or paste a link below to the driver. I will download the latest catalyst suite, is it 11.7? I was unsure about what drivers are compatible so hence the thread.

Your welcome to use the 11.8 out now, or you can try the 11.9 beta drivers :D

Here's the 11.9 Beta driver [email protected]

I know it says "Vista" but it works. At least on my other laptop D:

Ok, I'll try the 11.8 CCC. Still anybody know a compatible GPU driver for the 6970M in CFX?

11.8 is compatible, and you should be good with that. Be sure to install the CAPS for good crossfire in games.

Wondered if you may know somefin I don't, it worked all well like you said. However I'm having a problem, I think GPU-Z can see there is two GPU's in the laptop (because in the drop down menu I have the option to pick between two 6900's) however when I go into catalyst the CFX option is greyed out....? However the CFX cable looks ok in the cards? Anyone know what I may have to do?
