    Hi all,

Since the first day I received my alienware I've been frustrated and constantly having a hard time with it.

I finally got myself to the point where I've installed a factory image of Ultimate x64 Bit. Everything but AlienFX and Aliensense work.

When I go into command center, it tells me it cannot detect the device. I've tried everything including registry updates, phone calls to dell(customer service sucks) and anything you guys will probably throw at me.

I have a meeting tomorrow and using this PC is necessary, it would be wonderful if somebody can point me in the direction to get these lights working and possibly the aliensense face recognition.

Follow this guide to perform a clean install:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...er-install-order-guide-alienware-systems.html

And this thread to restore the Alienware goodies:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...er-install-order-guide-alienware-systems.html

REMEMBER: never use the restore DVD to install your drivers and NEVER install an older version of Command Center, hopefully this is not what you did to brick your AlienFX controller; grab the same version as your previous one or a newer version.

    Cheers

1, I hope the advice already given helps you.

2, Urgent? Really? What's this new trend with people unnecessarily and exaggeratingly putting "Urgent" in their post titles?
