    finally got the courage to order it about 2 weeks ago and unfortunately missed out of the i7 40s. Its coming in the next few days and these are the specs:

    Sorry if this has been repeated but any advice to what i need to do initially after receiving it? e.g. benchmark program suggestions, software updating, antiviral software, gaming suggestions (haven't been in the scene for a while) etc.

    Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated thank you :)

    Not an expert but:

    Check hinges.
    Check physical parts (Keyboard, lighting, items included, optical, mouse, etc)
    Adore product for a day or two.
    Get CPU Z/GPU Z to check hardware to make sure its what you ordered/working correctly.

    Norton Internet Security is a great AV, Norton 360 just adds some crap to be honest. Up to you if you want to pay extra.

    Thanks guys any1 know anythin about drivers for the 5870CF?

    Oh and another do any of you use any either screen protector or silicon keyboard protectors on you M17x?
