Hello, I have a m17x-r2 and I had been sick of every time I plug in my power cord having to unplug it and re plug it 20 times before it reads it. So I desided I needed BIOS A10. Doing little research on the subject, I went to dell.com and downloaded the bios from there. Therefore I ended up using the dreadead WinPhlash 64 program that came with it so it froze on block 1 of 70.
I waited 2 hours before saying screw it and unplugged it because I new it would crash and I had found fixes online. I keep trying this one http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware/404987-how-recover-bad-bios-flash.html but I get stuck on the turning on part. I created the usb boot disk on a xp machine and all. I plug it into the eSATA port, hold down Fn and B, plug it in, push the power button and nothing at all happens. No noise, lights, anything. I need some help from you guys please, thanks.

Nope. I blew off the warrenty extention. Its hard to believe that I need a motherboard since other people with the same problem have fixed it.
