Just today my bluetooth mouse fell of my desk and when I picked it up it stops working. I notice my bluetooth Icon is missing on my taskbar, I went thur and tried the device manager and see nothing? It seems to just dissapear out of no where? I even tried to re-install driver but it says that I need to enable or turn on blue tooth? How do I do that? The manuals are kept in the nice black box and it's somewhere in my attic, too much junk to move...anyone has any ideas a quick fix sorta! Thanks!

Start by clicking the small white arrow at the left edge of the System Tray. You'll see whatever system/programs icons that aren't currently configured to appear full-time in the Tray. Next, click Customize. You'll see a list of all the Notification Area Icons (Windows 7's term for "System Tray stuff"). Click the pull-down menu next to any one of them and you'll see three choices: Show icon and notifications, Hide icon and notifications, and Only show notifications. Ensure to select " Show icon and notifications" so that yr Bluetooth icon will always show up at your Win7 tray. Hope it helps.

Alternatively, click the Windows icon (Start), Copy & Paste shell:::{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} into the search box and press Enter. In an alphabetic listing, scroll down to Change Bluetooth settings.

    Hope it helps.
