Alright i think I'm due for an upgrade on my cooling pad. The usb cable has snapped off my U2, i know i can just solder it back on but the cooling pad barely fits the laptop so which cooling pad do you guys think is the best?

so far i have the U3 or the Cryo LX in mind.

I live in the UK, links would be appreciated ;)

If you remember, I modified my U3 to use standard 12v case fans. Now if you don't want to mess with your new cooling pad, then the Cryo LX would probably be your best bet.

Unless you absolutely want a new cooling pad, I'm pretty sure you can buy some good 80mm fans and have them run off an external PSU.

Just checked Cryo LX on Amazon UK but it's unavailable. Cryo LX is actually discontinued and it's quite hard to find one with MSRP. I actually paid mine for $70 which is way out of the original price.
