currently im using the intel centrino n-6300
    wich is a great card.

and i believe others use a killer 1103.

maybe someone will give you his/hers experiences with these cards.

Both are great, I really like the Centrino due to stability.

I've had the 6300 in the R2 for a long time, it had disconnects (the card went bad) but otherwise it was very very stable.

Just to be sure the M17x R2 only takes the Mini-Half PCI-E cards correct?

Half height WLAN cards have been the norm since like 2008, last few full height was Intel's 2007 Santa Rosa platform. 5xxx series WLAN cards I'd say were mostly half height.

And yes the R2 should only take half height, I haven't ever seen a full height Intel 6300.

Anyone have a link to the drivers for the Intel N-6300? Running Win7 Ulti 64.
