Hey guys. Need some advice. I was cleaning out my machine and tried to snap out the gpu fan wire when it broke. Now that card was in the left hand slot. I know I can't use the laptop as is with the fan dead and if it is possible for me to remove that card with the dead fan for the time being and use windows, play games or anything on the right hand side gpu. Need an update asap!

From what I recall, the M17x R2 won't boot without a card in the left hand slot.
Also, unfortunately, compared to the M17x, it doesn't have an integrated GPU.

Did you only broke the wire? You can probably solder it back together.

Not the wire. The clip that snaps into the board is broken. It has the wires intact just that the clip skeleton or the plastic part is broken.

Pull it in and use some adesive tape, that will do the trick.

I tried. Fan speeds don't go up and the fan isn't increasing in speed like it used to. Now if I want a replacement where do I order one. I live in Pakistan, we don't have official alienware support here or even Dell for that matter. I don't earn much either so I can spend around about 20 bucks at max. Where do I buy one? A place that delivers here in my country. Thanks any help would be appreciated!
