I just noticed online that my Alienware laptop is suppose 2 be scoring 18,000 to 23,000 on 3D score on defualt setting?.... But am only getting 15,900. I have checked Stealth mode which is disabled. I have aslo set my graphics card & 3dmark software both 2 default settings. All updates bios & grahics card drivers has been done by dell over the internet. Also crossfire enabled.

I tried calling them up yesterday but got a message saying they are on holiday. which i was told Alienware was a 24hr service all yr round but not anymore.
    This is my systems specs:
    Alienware M17X R2, Processor: Quad core i7 1.87, 6gb ram 1333hz, ATI Graphics card HD 5870 Crossfire Enabled. Windows 7 64bit
    Any help welcome Cheers!

Your score is what it should be and your laptop is fine. Stop worrying so much about synthetic benchmarks and go play some games.

Unless you are seeing problems while playing games, your system is fine. Just to be 100% sure that Crossfire is active, you can open up Catalyst Control Center, go to gaming-->amd crossfire configuration and make sure the box is checked for enabling crossfire. If that is the case, then you are fine, go enjoy your new system.

That just means futuremark doesn't consider the driver you're using as officially approved by them. I get the same thing and it's no big deal. You should take my advice and just go use your system for what you purchased it for instead of trying to nitpick it for non-existent problems.
