    Woe unto me.

M17xR2 that has had a few issues. Thought there was an inverter issue causing my screen to give off a pinkish hue for a few moments on boot before immediately fading to black ( video linked here).

Purchased an inverter, waited for inverter, received inverted, then attempted to install inverter. I challenge anyone to install a CCFL inverter on what turned out to be a RGB display.

Now I have the same issue, but no idea what to replace. Does the whole screen need to be swapped, or is it possibly just a cable?

Cheaper would be to swap just the cable, but you should really make sure that everything else is ok, or else you are just wasting a lot of money on that laptop. :/
