    M17x R2 Touchpad...choppy?

    How come its so bloody choppy
    x.x

    Am i the only one?
    its not silky smooth like my old laptop. the mouse is all jittery across the screen when using it.

    is there a driver update for it that fixes the issue or?

    choppy how? This laptop has known low polling rate mouse pad issues that can cause it be slow to respond. If you don't have synaptics driver's already installed, you should try them first.

    I just got my M17x and it was the first thing I noticed... horrible touch pad.

    I rarely do, but did notice it while I was fresh installing. It was hard to get used to when M11's are almost heavenly compared to m17's.

    yeah, it really is horrible. just like in the thread provided, it should be running at least at 60, but I would expect it to be a better than average 100-200hz on my $4,000 laptop. The lowest setting on the mabma I use is 125hz.
