    No optimizations yet,
but the 4k read/write seems horribly slow
also, the read / write in general seems horribly slow. Fresh install, I've already installed latest 1.33 firmware, anything else I am missing?

    Got all chipset drivers, etc.

Did you clone your system? The alignment should be 1024K, but in your case it is 103424K. TBO I dont know for sure how this affect the actual speed, but I read very often that the alignment should be 1024K.

did "Some" tweaks.. not a huge difference. 4k speeds seem a bit better.

I get about 450/250 with 612 overall score on my Vertex 3 max iops drive. Below its potential but it doesn't freeze on me and is very stable so I'm happy with it.

I had this alignment after a fresh install, too (letting format the win 7 setup the ssd). I then decided to preformat it with diskpart, so that I can check the alignment beforehand. Then I installed win 7 again w/o reformating the ssd and my alignment is correct since then. But as stated before I dont know if and how it really affects the speed.
