    M17x R2 Won't Turn On

    So I was using my M17x R2 today, and it randomly shut off. I can't seem to turn it back on no matter what I try.

    When I hit the power button, the mousepad, keyboard, and power buttons light up for a couple seconds and the fan kicks in for a second and everything then just stops. After that I can't even do that (nothing even lights up). I have to unplug it and from the power adapter in order to get the lights on (but it doesnt start up).

    I tried power cycling it, tried reflashing it (to no avail, doesn't stay on long enough, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right).

    processor: i7 720QM
    gpu: ati radeon mobility hd 5870

    Anybody experience this or know what's wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
