Recently I have upgraded to windows 10 and while everything seems to work, I cannot get disply brightness to work. It always maximum. I have tried it from control panel/power options and Fn+ F4/F5 and nothing seems to change it.

    Any ideas? Thanks

Find all occurrances of ""KMD_EnableBrightnessInterface2" in the registry and change its value from 1 to 0.

You're most welcome @BrightStar. If you are using Alienware's OSD and would prefer a cleaner looking icon when adjusting your brightness check out the "Custom OSD" link in my sig.

Also take a look at the M17x R2 Owners Lounge thread, theres a few more Windows 10 related workarounds there.
