    M17x R2 ati and nvidia card at the same time

    heard of people in full size system running ati/amd graphics cards and a low end nvidia card for physx's.

    Since the 17x R2 has two slots could we do the same thing?

    We've been discussing this in the past and some of us were supposed to try it but nobody ever did from what i recall.

    Anyway, physically it is possible but in order to achieve this you'll need hacked drivers since nvidia doesn't allow this if the primary card is not nvidia.

    its was just something I was thinking about since you can run the 7970m you really don't need CF or SLI anymore to run todays games.

    I understand your logic but even the desktop AMD 7xxx series don't have a solution for this yet.

    I need to find the article I found awhile ago about how to enable physx's on amd/ati systems with 30x.xx drivers. If I find it again I will post the link
