    Hey guys,

Got a very big problem with my M17x. Everytime i try to start Windows there is no image on the screen and the CAPS-button is lit up while SCROL and NUM is both flashing.

Did some research and turns out the code that the indicators are making should be something about the RAM, but i got no luck trying replacing them. But I don't have a clue why the screen dosen't show an image.

Recently upgrading my cpu from i7 740qm to 920xm, and checked all the cables were well plugged in. Did some overclocking with Throttlestop but is it suppose to make the screen go black?

I just tried to install the i7 740qm again but still no luck.

    Any suggestions?

FYI - I'd double check everything. Hoepfully you didn't short anything out.

Will double check everything again now, but I'm pretty sure that no cables are loose, unplugged or similar.

I will post a reply when I have finished in 5-10 min.

    Thanks DR650SE.

    Dude,

Screen cable was loose. Solved the screen problem along with the indicators.
Thanks for letting me in doubt DR650SE!

But now i need to install the damn 920xm again, and I also succeeded in getting the end-button of, while taking of the touch panal.

But I Guess I'll be playing the Battlefield 3 Demo after all then.

    Cheers guys!
