So let me start with some background story. I just finished repasting both gpus and the cpu with some AS5. After I finished I booted it up and checked the temps with hwinfo32. They were all considerably lower than before so I decided to try a game. I loaded uP crysis from steam and played for 10 mins. All of a sudden the screen froze and the image rolled up and back and I coulndt do anything. I held the power down and tried to restart but nothing happened just lights no bios splash screen the lcd it self didnt look like it was on at all. I tried reseating the ram, cmos, I even checked the gpus to see if the paste was properly applied all was fine. So now I'm stumped is it my motherboard or is it my video card. I tried running with 1 card but still nothing. Any insight will be appreciated thank you.

How did you try running with one card? Did you remove the slave card? The primary slot is the left side gpu slot. I'm sur eyou already know that though. Try taking the slave card (right side) and putting it in the master slot (left side). If that works you know it's the master card that failed and needs replaced. Though I would just tell dell about your GPU issue and have them replace both. Also were you cards overclocked at the time? What was the voltage you were running? I'm not sure it would matter, but might help.

Just tried switching em and you were right my master is bad :( Unfortunatly there is no warrenty anymore so I might be stuck running 1 5870 thx for your help though. And the cards weren't overclocked they were running stock settings and voltage.
