    Hi

I recived my system yesterday and my SSD crucial M2 256gb
I clean installed the OS on the SSD and followed the driver install guide but kept getting BSOD as soon as the windows logo appears on bootup
I went into safe mode and removed this driver Realtek-Driver
    R289405.exe (9MB)
    Recommended 1/17/2011 6.1.7600.64, A00

and somehow I can boot into windows with no issues now, am I the only one and is there a fix?

CrystalDiskInfo is one method. Download Center - Crystal Dew World. But now, a more recent firmware update -- 0309 -- is available for the M4. Crucial.com Product Downloads - Firmware Updates. So, just download the 0309 .iso, burn it to a CD and flash. I did it last night, and it worked smoothly.

Can't remember where the updated Realtek driver came from, probably from another forum member. It's the one I am currently using.

i also burned the 309 iso to cd and updated my firmware on my crucial m4.

Just a tip for those who installed their M4 in RAID mode, i had to temporarily set my SATA BUS to AHCI and then boot from cd to get the firmware update to work. If you don't do this, the Crucial update app will not find your M4 drive (if you installed it in RAID mode)

After, i set my SATA back to RAID and all is well now :)

This driver version is only posted on the m18x, I checked the m17x r3 and m14x and they are the older version
I will check and see if this newer version indeed does fix the BSOD
