    M17x R3 - Blank White Screen & Not booting up

    Hey guys,

    Suddenly my M17x is refusing to boot up anymore - it doesn't even get to BIOS, and all I'm getting is a blank white screen. This happened once before today, but it turned from white to showing me the system restore screen. I did the system restore and it was working fine for a few hrs, and now its back to showing a blank white screen and doesn't respond at all. I'm completely desperate as all my school work is on that laptop.

    when dell killed my m17x the screen turned white. I don't know if this has anything to do with your problem but they fried the mobo on mine :(
