    M17x R3 - Where can I buy the charger cord for it?

    This is my 3rd charger for this laptop that is breaking in some way.

    This time, it is simply the cord that plugs into the power brick that is tearing apart and no longer works unless it is positioned a certain way. The inner cord is completely exposed and the copper wires surrounding the green wire have completely split apart.

    Is there a place where I can buy just this cord for the charger and not the entire charger?

    Try ebay or an electronics store, just bring the adapter and ask them if they have anything that fits it.

    The bit that goes from mains to power brick? They are standard power plugs, you should be able to get them anywhere, your printer/desktop will have the same power plug if you want to swap them.
