Hello, I know the title might be a bit confusing but I recent received a M17x r3 out of a trade knowing it has a bad MXM slot. But it also has the 120hz 3d display so I can't boot from it with iGPU with the 460M removed.

What I am wondering is if I flashed the newest bios with the 120hz lcd unplugged and GPU removed would it enable the iGPU and allow me to at least use the laptop via HDMI from the iGPU? I will be replacing the motherboard with a R4 motherboard soon but I'd just like to play around with it until then.
