Hello,
Ordered the 3D system, should come with a blue ray combo. When I fill in my service tag at Dell's site and click on the original configuration tab the part number thats in the list is for a DVD/CD RW and not for the blue ray combo.
The system is not for me so I dont want to turn it on and check what kind of drive I got installed. I also dont want to unscrew half the laptop to check the serial number on the drive. Maybe its a mistake on Dell's site.
Could someone with a 3D system check their part number through Dell's site and let me know what they got listed?

Well if I turn it on, what numbers do I need to look for? Is it shown in bios?
-
Right, so I booted into the bios. Bios shows: CD/DVD/BD meaning I have a Blu ray drive.
So info on Dell site is incorrect, was really down about it. Had to wait for about 2.5 months and then Dell still manage to mess things up...
I also saw 2 year warrenty, I only bought one year, hhmm see how that works out when its transfered to my country. -
Nice one on the warranty!!

The 2 year warranty happened to me as well. Not sure anyone else that only purchased a one year but got ugpraded to two year.

NOW...when I fill in my tag I have NO warrenty. The country is showing UK now. On the form I filled in The Netherlands and all my personal info. What is going on here. -
