    Hello all,

Is anyone else having completely ridiculous problems with their GPU on BF3? I get 8 FPS with the recommended settings, and only 11 on the high settings. Can't even complete the first level the FPS are so bad.

I am quite literally getting better FPS with the integrated GPU (disabling card) than with the 6970m, which is -so- not right.

Have the latest official Dell drivers, and have tried putting the Rage preview drivers in the BF3.exe folder. No luck.

    Is this a known issue?

    Thanks!

Whatever the recommended is, 1600 by something (letterbox). I moved it to the minimum resolution and it's not much better.

    OK...forget the game for now.

Run 3d mark vantage and tell us what score you get.

you should install 11.9 or the 11.10 preview 3 driver, as the latest official dell drivers are not made for BF3. Also, putting the graphics cards drivers into the BF3 folder is not going to do anything.

    11.9

    11.10 preview 3

You should also be monitoring your temps with a program like GPU-Z or HWINFO64. I use both to cross check and to make sure my crossfire is working, but you wont need GPU-Z to check for crossfire.

    GPU-Z

    HWINFO64

Upvote for Mkelliny - Fixed based on his post. Ripped out old driver, driverswept, then reinstalled the new driver. Now getting 47-58 FPS.

    Thanks!
