Hello all, I recently did a clean install of windows 10 and I am having problems getting the GPU to work successfully. I have followed this guide http://alienwareusersupport.weebly.com/proper-amdati-driver-install.html but it still does not give me a functioning laptop. My fps in games such as league of legends is stuck at a constant 20 fps and device manager only shows "Intel HD Graphics Family". I have tried reinstalling windows and starting by installing the Dell 6970m driver from the dell website. After installation and restart, I can see in device manager under display adapters, intel hd graphics 3600 as well as AMD radeon 6900M series. However, the AMD radeon 6900M card has a yellow exclamation mark with code 31. I have also done other fresh installs of windows 10 and tried different driver combinations suggested on this forum in hopes of getting it to work. I have tried installing the later AMD driver versions first (such as 11.1 or 12.4) and installing the Dell ones over top of it (and vice versa) but that has not worked either. On some occasions I would run into an installation error or the installation would just finish very fast and it seems to have no effect on my system. Through all the different combinations I have tried, I was able to get a constant 60 fps on League of Legends on just two brief occasions but on restart, my computer returned to its sluggish 20 fps. I am considering reverting back to windows 8.1 or even windows 7 in hopes of getting my drivers to work. Any suggestions or help is appreciated, thanks.

Honestly, I recommend you fully uninstall the driver using DDU (display driver uninstaller) and get the latest one from the ATI website instead:
    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy3&os=Windows+10+-+64

You can either try the latest Catalyst or even the beta Crimson ones.

Can you try that and let us know if that worked for you?

When I try the latest amd drivers and the crimson ones, my computer boots to a black screen or the drivers have no effect at all. I have downgraded to windows 8.1 and the only driver that is workign for me right now is the 2011 dell driver. All other drivers fail for me even after a clean install of windows

edit: i was able to install the crimson drivers and get it to boot but my fps was capped at about 20-25 fps in everything from league of legends to OCCT. I then used DDU and installed the latest catalyst and it installed fine but then I also suffered from low fps in basically everything.
