    M17x R3 Battery Life

    The M17x R3 comes with switchable discrete and Intel 3000 right? So my question is how long is the battery life when on integrated and normal usage? (i.e. web browsing, low brightness, power saver)

    i brought mine outside recently,running on battery & power saver with IGP,can last me around 3 hours plus during web browsing.

    Not all M17x R3 can switch

    *460M + 3D = no switching
    *460M + no 3D = automatic switching
    *6870M and 6970M = manual switching

    I managed to squeeze 5hrs once while web browsing, the brightness was around 30% , by usually i get around 3-4hrs.

    On integrated graphics and power saver, web browsing can last 4.5-5 hours unless you are watching videos the whole time or something like that.
