    Greetings everyone!

Iam suffering due to lacking performance in my i7 2670QM @ 2,2 ghz.
I have 16 gb dd3 and GTX 680M and Samsungs SSD 830. As you can see, it is easy to tell that the CPU is the neck of the bottle here. It does perform well when it boosts to turbo which reaches to 2,8 ghz but that counts for the temperatures to. reaching to 90 deg C. I have copper heatsinks on their way from China to upgrade the cooling capacity either on this CPU or a new one.

Either way, should I consider to upgrade the CPU and if so where do I look to buy one? Could it be as obvious as @ DELL?

    Many thanks in advance.

You should get a better CPU.. You need to do the following to cool your GPU properly

    1. Clean your vents out
    2. Repaste with IC Diamond.. Gelid GC Extreme
    3. Raise the bottom of your laptop.. use books or get a notepal U3
    4. Get a 2920XM/2960XM

OC and Enjoy.. Your cooling system can easily handle the CPU @ 4.0GHz...
