    M17x R3 GPU speed Allway 100%

    i had i M17x r3 With 3d screen. The problem is GPU speed fan allway 100% and it very noise. When idle My gpu temple just aroud 45 --> 55. Some time when i play diablo 3 it reach to 85o. How can i change GPU speed fan to lower when idle to minimize noise

    What vid card do you have?

    I wouldn't touch your fans until you lowered your GPU temps. 85 on Diablo 3 is a tad high. When was the last time you repasted and cleaned out your vents? My 7970m reaches 70c after hours of diablo3

    You can also raise the back of your laptop to lower your temps 5-10c. Use a book, bottle caps, a laptop cooler etc...

    i had gtx 460m. I just repasted my gpu last 2 week but just replace did't replace pad and i use laptop cooler . The temp in nomal still fine but reach to 78c just in 20min play word of tank. I replaced my GPU 1 before but can solved problem. Is this because hardware problem. Some people told me that's because mainboard is that right
