For some reason GPU temp #3 reading is 10+ C higher than temp #1 and temp #2. On 100% load it goes up to 85 C while other two stays below 75. Any suggestions for the problem?

I think that's memory (correct me if I'm wrong!). VRAM always gets alot hotter than the core temp.

i suggest getting new thermal pads for the vram. but those temps are still within the safe limit.

temp 3 is the vram ( the black chips on the gpu)temps and yes it normal for it to be higher. you can close the temp gap by replacing the thermal pads but it will still run slightly hotter then the rest of the card.

Yes, im def interested in re-pasting and replacing thermal pads.
With stock paste, when I OC my 6970m to 775/1000 (6850 desktop clock), temp #3 is nearly 90C although the main temperature is only 75C. Im kinda worried about that temp #3.
