    M17x R3 Graphics card Performace issue

    I have recently encountered performance issue with my R3... I play league of legends and starcraft 2 and I been getting max fps on all high settings, now all of a sudden my fps drops below max... all on medium graphics... before this I was able to play on high settings getting 60 constant fps.

    I have the Nvidia 460m GTX.

    how do i know if I have the 3d version or optimus? I have 460M here is the CPU-Z log.... FAR AS I KNOW I thought 460M = Optimus+3D ready... mine is 3D ready if that is what you are asking.

    If you have the 3D/120hz screen it's 3D, if you have the non-3D/60hz screen it's not. You can't have both. If it's the 3D model my best recommendations are these, make sure you do them in order:
    1)Shut your computer down.
    2)Make sure you're plugged into power or it will downclock.
    3)Turn it back on and make sure you're still plugged in and on High Performance in Windows.
    4)If none of that works uninstall and reinstall your video drivers.
    You can also try doing a power drain as a lot of problems can be solved on an AW by doing that and making sure you're plugged into power.

    Ok, I have a 60HZ, but my graphics card = 3D ready though right? i just need to get like another 120Hz monitor/3d monitor... anyways I think I might of solved the problem I did reinstall NVIDIA graphics driver+on AVG I had game mode enabled.. I think that might cause of cause some problems.

    Yea it would have. I don't run any anti-virus software but that's just me, slows it down too much and I reformat often anyway.
