    Hello forum.

    Just wondering if Ill still be able to switch to the HD3000 if I upgrade to the AMD 7970m?
    Im currently running a HD6990m on the R3.

    nope I believe you will have to disable it or the drivers won't install properly.

    Sorry to double post but a quick thought just came to mind.

    If I disabled them in device manager could I be able switch to and fro that way :)

    don't think that works either. They only way to swap between graphics cards is to use the bios toggle as far as I know.

    That capability is lost when you upgrade beyond the 6990 (latest AMD officially supported card).
