Hey guys, so i'm trying to use my external headset microphone, however at the moment it won't pick up any sound/or doesn't seem to work. It appears all sound is going to the microphone array which is an issue when I skype as they can hear every keystroke, which is very annoying when gaming. I can't start the IDT Control Panel (tried using older driver, the 'cannot find startup file!' error pops up).

Use windows to change the default recording device.

I've tried this, basically it doesn't pick up any sound on that device, the only sound that's coming through is from the Microphone Array.

    Try reinstalling the audio drivers.

Your audio jacks might be malfunctioning. Mine are now randomly detecting plugs/unplugs on the ports =/
