So my screen is cracked, and there doesn't seem to be a way to take it out from the back, aside from cutting the metal.
I'm wondering if anyone knows how to remove the plastic panel on the front.

I know it's got some crazy adhesive going on, but I'd rather deal with that than cutting through the metal in the back.

Edit: I already had a spare lcd screen handy. I'd rather use that than have to buy a whole new deal.

I bought my 1080p panel off ebay for only around $123 including shipping. Probably not worth the headache of trying to replace the panel itself. :(

I figure it'll be a lot more difficult, but I'm trying to avoid the extra monies spent.

I may just spring for the entire thing rather than risk busting my poor computer.

If not removable by force, try using a heat gun on low setting
