    Just a quick query guys, as i cant find the information anywhere:

    Will Dell be introducing the i7-2920XM Processor at all in the future?

    And if so when? (If anyone knows that is)

    There was a post a while back with info from a Dell Tech which said it was a 'maybe' for the future.

    Thanks for the info, I might just wait abit then, or failing that when ive got the remaining few hundred dollars in the bank ill call teh rep and ask for info about it.

    I forgot to ask actually;
    is it safe to assume if i got one with the i7-2820 in it that i could upgrade to the 2920 at a later date or are/will the pin configurations different for the socket on the mobo ?

    I believe there are a couple NBR members who have customized their laptop by adding a 2920. I don't recall their names, search the forum.

    Should ppl be waiting for the XM cpus, or the Z68 mobos? Any chance that the R3 will be getting Z68 (if it doesn't alraedy have it)?
