    Hello guys. I was wondering if you guys can help me, when I play a movie, the picture quality(blotches in the background) is terrible, compare to my xps1710.Also when I play a bluray movie{dull picture), it not sharp at all.I was wondering what to do.

    Try updating or reinstalling your drivers? If that doesn't work, then it's either the GPU or the monitor = get a replacement :(
