Ahh seems like my problems never ends... but im used to with it :D

Actually, i'm usin Turtle Beach call of duty MW3 (Z6A) headset with my M17, but with it im gettin some noise its like static noise, i can hear it clearly while ive stop music for about next 30 sec. then its blow away. Now its again start even whenever ive double click on any folder to open it, same next it will stop after 30 sec.
Now for this issue ive did check my headphone with my phone (GSII) and with sound is very clear not any static noise. ive only get it when ive plug in with M17, additionally i can notice it clearly when volume is loud from Turtle Beach on line control bar.

So far ive figure out as its related to IDT driver. but when ive uninstall driver, noise never stops but with Driver its stops with in next 20 to 30sec.

Hello, and welcome to NBR. Good to have you in the Alienware Community.

You may be having an issue with DPC latency causing the audio artifacts. Have you installed the new driver for the GTX 580X yet? It could also be the IDT power management. You need to turn that off. Information on the DPC latency, new NVIDIA driver and turning off the IDT power management is mentioned in multiple threads in the Alienware Community.

If you have trouble finding the information, you can find things quickly with the right key words immediately following the prefix... site:forum.notebookreview.com

Mr. For thanks for lovely welcome,
Currently, im usin Nvidia 195.73 driver. yeap in first post ive forgot to mention about IDT power management, before ive did turn of power management then Noise stays forever never turn off, if enable power management then noise turn off as per sec. set for it :(

Alright ive did check your LINK but no luck with it still same.

Alright ive did use DPC latency checker, result attached with it. Seems like normal :)

Thanks Fox for input, But ive did tried it before it wont work. Even after disablin Power management static sound never goes away its always there. If ive enable it then sound goes as per sec. set for it. But its again showed up whenever it detects any sound.

Hi GTX, and as Mr. Fox said Welcome to the board.

I have a pair of Turtle Beach X11 headsets that have a constant static noise as well. This is an expected side effect of the headsets however (at least from the searching I have done) and isn't noticeable when the game is playing (although if I'm not playing something it's very noticeable).

I'm not certain if the Z6A's are prone to this as well. It might be worth posting on the turtle beach forum (if you haven't already) to see if this is expected or if there is something wrong with the headset.

Actually i can conform that its not fault with headsets, cosz first i was thinkin same way even about this matter ive asked Turtle Beach support and they just replaced it with brand New without even checkin my current headset. And samethin happenin with Brand new one. Ive did check it with my friend's laptop with it im not gettin any noise out of it, even though ive used it with ma GSII and sound is crystal clear. The noise only occurs with mine Alienware, even more specific as per my point of view its regardin to IDT power management. ive really have no idea why IDT not researchin on their drivers even though updates not comin frequently.
