    Hi,

I just recieved my new m17x R3, and its been working great, except this problem i am facing. After the computer has started, if i connect devices to the usb 3.0 ports on the left side, it works fine, but if i try to start the computer up with devices connected to those two ports on the left, it freezes right at the beginning before the bios screen!. I have no idea what is causing this and what i can do. any advice is much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Is your boot priority set to HDD as 1st boot drive in BIOS?

eh change that back to the HDD...unless your running your OS off the devices. I had this problem with my old lenovo (horrible computer) if i had a usb stick or any device in it, it would just not load correctly), its better off just plugging in devices after you boot up your computer.

I personally just have the 1st boot device as HDD and left the 2nd and 3rd boot devices empty..That way it'll just boot off the primary HDD where windows is..Assuming your windows is on your primary HDD..
